Over the years I realized that when a series is on hiatus I’m basically on hiatus with it, i. e. post and/or reblog almost nothing, unless I (randomly) decide to look up the tag and/or come across e. g. very pretty gifsets or I decide to rewatch (same goes for movies). You can guess what that means for e. g. Netflix shows… 😉😅

since we're apparently getting some sort of bughead scene but any REAL bughead scene where they like, talk or something, would be a complete non sequitur at this point, my final baseless rvd theory is this: the finale ends on jughead happily typing away at his laptop like the insane person he is; betty walks over and says something like "it's late jug come to bed"; cut to black

and we're all STUNNED and AMAZED by the brilliant implication that the show was jughead's novel/comic/whatever all along, like wow, who could ever have seen THAT coming

This might get into too much spoilers, but do you actually ever get out of the 1950s? Or is the entire season in the ’50s?

I don’t know if I should answer it. [pause] No, we don’t get out of the 1950s. So I guess that is a big spoiler. I will say you do experience the characters in three different… dimensions, that you get to see a lot of closures that are outside of the 1950s. I can tease it that way. I think that’s safe enough.

Yeah, saw that. It was already pretty clear from all the BTS that they are staying in the 1950s to he end.

The rest is most likely three different timelines (already a thing on the show), and we gets Jughead’s voice-over on how it ends in each. Or something similar. The last shot of the show is probably Jug typing away at Pop’s as he narrates, or something.

ETA: yeah, it’s not going to be satisfying, we knew that. Still, depressing.
